A Valentine's Dinner Theatre

Join Red Magnolia Theatre Company for their one-night-only production of Love Letters, the first play of the 2019 Readers Theatre Series.  Starring Jennifer Johnson and Bill Martin, Love Letters is an endearing play by A.R. Gurney who was a Pulitzer Prize finalist.   The story begins when Andrew Makepeace Ladd III accepts an invitation to Melissa Gardner’s birthday party, and Melissa writes a thank-you note to ask just why he got her the book “The Lost Princess of Oz." A romantic friendship and correspondence that lasts for almost half a century is born.  Spanning five decades, Love Letters is a tender, funny, wistful, and nuanced examination of the shared nostalgia, missed opportunities, and deep closeness of two lifelong and complicated friends.  

Tickets are $55 per person and include a three-course dinner, show, tax and gratuity. Cash bar available.
